Dragoslay is arcade game with role-playing elements wheres your goal is to slay the dragon and bring back 4 crowns. But this task wouldn't be easy one.

What's done:

- Picked up almost all the graphics. (Thanks to Jason Perry a.k.a finalbossblues)

- Picked up almost all the soundtrack (sounds, music). (quasi88 with official soundtrack and gamerip from Falcom Classics for Sega Saturn)

- Basic functionality (movement, collisions with walls).

What's to be done:

- Basic functionality (level scrolling, binding numerical stats to the
character, spawning and monsters rotation, victory and defeat conditions,
taking and dropping items, work with sprite layers to make them
overlap correctly).

- Transition from one musical theme to another at the beginning of the level.

- The rest (menus, multiplayer/co-op, save function, sound pitch tones when moving).

Plans:

- Using the current development environment to bring the project to the most playable state that it allows.

- Content from the original: first 1.1, then 2.0 with the implementation of separate rules of the game.

- Save function (several types: at any moment, exit with saving the current state).

- Launch of individual levels and their sets from separate files.

- Built-in or separate map editor.

- Multiplayer/co-op for two players at one screen. Theory mockup presented in screenshots section.

Development and porting plans:

- Unity

- Unreal Engine (3, 4, 5)

- Game Maker Studio

- Game Maker Studio 2

- Pixel Game Maker

- Multimedia Fusion

- Game Maker (4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

<list to be expanded over time>

- Multiplayer for 16-32 players over LAN and internet.

- Large-scale maps.

- Random map generator.

- Different classes/characters/heroes with their own features.

- More tilesets for levels (for variety).
